These timeless words, written to Timothy by the Apostle Paul, serve to remind every believer in each successive generation of the great responsibility entrusted to us. We are to diligently teach God’s truth—the Bible—to our children and students in a manner that guides them toward a vibrant faith in Christ, walking in His ways, and being equipped for a life of fruitful service. This is the essence and goal of biblical literacy.

This two-part booklet has been written to help inspire and better equip the church and home to raise up a generation of children who know and love the Bible. Part 1 provides 10 foundational priorities to pursue. Part 2 gives practical guidance for training children to read and study the Bible in various age categories.
