Thank you for this study! I have had the immense joy and privilege of using the Fighter Verses Study with a group of women at my church this past year. I have done many really good Bible studies over the years and I am thankful for each one that has been focused on the Word of God. The Lord has used it so greatly in our lives that I can't help but share it with others -- and we now have two other families in our church using it with their families. We each have copies of the study for each member of the family and work on them independently as part of our time with the Lord each day. We are also using the app for quizzes, blog posts, and searching Desiring God for articles, messages, podcasts, etc. My husband uses the blog posts and other links to help him lead family devotions each morning at breakfast. Our family (and the other two in our church) gather weekly to go through the study in a family/small group study. Some of our highlights include:
Establishing the appropriate context of the memory verse -- the authors have done a fantastic job with this!
Bible study skills highlights -- these are wonderful and help us to instruct our children in Bible study skills that assist our accurate understanding of the text.
The studies are broken into 'doable' portions for our children and are meaty enough for adults.
The study is not so time intensive that I can't be involved in additional personal or group Bible study. This helps the 'doable'-ness for folks with varying involvement in other studies.
Application sections/questions help us to not merely amass "information," but to apply God's word to our life.
