By encouraging churches and families to sing great truths, we plant musical memories that will not fade in the hearts and minds of children. This curriculum seeks to preserve the hymnody of the past and promote God-focused, theologically sound, modern worship songs that have the potential to stand the test of time.

Each of the 13 lessons includes biblical teaching, an enduring hymn from the past, and a carefully selected newer hymn or worship song. By combining the old with the curated new, we preserve our theological heritage and clearly communicate truth to the coming generations. The lessons, application questions, and worship times, will teach students biblical truth, helping them learn how to analyze the music of the church.

Order 1 Teacher’s Guide for each additional co-teacher or small group leader.

The Teacher’s Guide is designed for use with the Classroom Kit for this curriculum. The Teacher’s Guide includes the curriculum introduction, lesson content, and appendix (but not the visuals or parent pages that are part of the Classroom Kit). Each guide is designed to equip a small group leader or co-teacher with their own copy of the curriculum to study and pray through as they prepare to minister to the children under their care.

Order 1 for each student and leader. (Optional)

Booklet of lyrics for all hymns featured in this curriculum for use in the classroom and to send home with each student so they and their families can sing the hymns together at home (i.e., you will want to provide a book to send home with each student at the start of this class each year, and books for classroom use year after year). You may also want to purchase a copy for each adult helper in the classroom to participate in the singing.
