Prayer does not change God; it changes us by revealing our sinful hearts, and it allows us to know God’s will, purposes and, most importantly, Himself. By prayer we get to know our Heavenly Father and learn to trust Him more with the cares of this life.
The intergenerational study Lord, Teach Us to Pray helps us study the discipline of prayer. Prayer is not a formula to follow; it is fellowship with our Lord. We offer a Family Devotional Guide designed for use in conjunction with this study, but you can also use it separately. The 13-week devotional provides six days of devotional ideas per week, plus ideas for a weekly Family Night Activity.
